ECRL is a Brownfield project. Clients scope includes augmentation and upgrade to the existing HV network supplying traction power to Sydney Metro Northwest Stations between Epping and Chatswood and joining onto the new Sydney Metro Northwest HV network. Installation and commissioning of new 33kV and 1500VDC switchgear and associated electrical equipment, interconnecting cables and interfaces form part of Clients scope.
EQH was engaged to manage the schedule and productivity of the Clients electrical commissioning team, as well as coordinate and manage overlapping interface between HV and control system commissioning works.
Services provided include TQ management and resolution, permit preparation and co-ordination, workpack preparation, subcontractor management – driving quality and efficiency, documentation review and quality assurance.
Rail – Onsite Commissioning & Testing Australia
After guiding our client through the build process and construction management of the E-House vendor the client asked EQ-House to extend its scope to include:
- Manage the Building Installation
- Manage the Equipment Testing & Commissioning for both prefabricated and Insitu rooms across 14 different sites
- Support the clients PM team to conduct the following integration testing, function testing with PCS and electrical testing in compliance with AS3000

Rail – Quality Systems & Controls Australia
Our client asked us to establish an overarching QC system for the E-House part of the scope, resolve it with the client and apply it.
Additionally EQ-House were asked to develop the QC plan documentation and controls for the installation and testing of the Equipment.
