From this pint, the “For Construction set” should be a walk in the park.  The critical factors to manage are the changes in design leading up to Design Freeze stage.  This stage is vital to managing your clients expectations for change based on the inputs provided during the creation of the Tender Set of drawings.

Manufacturing experience for the E-House and Switchroom determines where design change should take place.  In this instance, the 80/20 rule applies. 80% of change should take place in the period leading up to Design Freeze.  Once construction has commenced the “For Construction Set” should only have a potential change of 20%. More often than not we see that it is the other way around.
